Stay on stable ground. Do not climb a ladder, step onto a roof, lean from a window, or enter any unsafe area for this checklist. If an area cannot be seen safely, record that limit. A contractor can document what the ground cannot show.

Write down what you can actually observe

The checklist follows the same field, detail, drainage, and access questions as the inspection guide. Check only visible conditions and leave causes or conclusions for documented inspection.

Check only what you can see

Leave an item unchecked when it is not visible or not observed. Unchecked never means confirmed absent.
