What this site is for

This site describes the roofing and exterior work K. Simon Construction performs, and gives you tools for thinking about your own roof before you talk to anyone. It is information and planning help. It is not an inspection, not an engineering opinion, not an insurance determination, and not a quote for work.

The tools give estimates, not quotes

The roof size estimator, the storm history lookup, the roof age and lifespan tool, and the roof self-check all produce planning estimates from general data. They work from aerial imagery, public weather records, and the answers you give. None of them has seen your roof.

• A roof size from an address is measured from aerial data. It is not a surveyed takeoff and it is not a price.
• Storm history shows public National Weather Service reports near an address. A report near you is not proof your roof was damaged, and the absence of one is not proof it was not.
• Age, lifespan, and self-check results are general guidance built from your own answers. They are not a condition finding.
• Nothing a tool returns is a commitment to a scope, a price, a schedule, or an insurance outcome.

Decisions that cost money should rest on an inspection of the actual roof, not on an estimate produced from a screen.

The roof visualizer produces a concept

The visualizer generates an illustration of a chosen material and color on the photo you upload. It is a design concept for narrowing choices. It is not a photograph of your finished roof, not a guarantee of the product, the color, the finish, or the installed appearance, and not part of any agreement about the work. Screens shift color, and generated images approximate texture and shadow. Confirm any final color against a physical product sample in daylight at the house before it goes on a contract. Services we link to but do not run

Parts of this site depend on other companies, and some links take you off it entirely. We do not control those services, their availability, their terms, or their prices.

• Financing. The financing links open Hearth, a separate company. K. Simon Construction is not a lender and makes no credit decisions. Rates, ranges, funding times, and example payments shown on the financing page are Hearth's published terms and can change. Anything you apply for is between you, Hearth, and Hearth's lending partners.
• Hosting and analytics. The site is hosted and measured by service providers. What they receive is listed in the privacy notice.
• Image generation and map data. The visualizer and the address tools call outside providers to do their work. Those providers set their own terms for the services they run.

Using the site does not create a contract

Reading these pages, running a tool, saving a concept image, or sending a form is not an agreement to buy anything and does not obligate us to perform work. A form submission is a request to be contacted. Work, scope, price, and schedule are agreed separately and in writing after someone has looked at the property. Nothing on this site is an offer that you can accept by clicking.

What belongs to us

The written content, photography, project documentation, drawings, logo, and the software behind the tools belong to K. Simon Construction or to the parties who licensed them to us. Read them, print them, and share a page with whoever is helping you decide. Do not republish, resell, scrape, or feed this site into another product, and do not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse or are involved in something we are not. Manufacturer names, product lines, and color names belong to those manufacturers and are used here to identify their products.

The photo you upload to the visualizer stays yours. The concept image the tool returns is yours to use for your own project.

Using the site fairly

• Upload only photos you have the right to use, of a property you own or are responsible for. Do not upload photos of people.
• Do not present a generated concept image, a tool estimate, or a storm report as evidence of a roof's actual condition to an insurer, a buyer, a lender, or anyone else.
• Do not use the forms or tools to send anything unlawful, deliberately false, or abusive.
• Do not try to break, overload, or work around the limits on the tools, and do not use automated systems to harvest the site or its outputs.

The tools are rate limited so they stay available and affordable to run. We may pause or withdraw a tool at any time, including for a specific visitor who is misusing it.

Changes to these terms

When the site changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. There is no archive of earlier versions, so the page you are reading is the one that applies.
